For half a decade, Gamer’s Path has been more than just a game store - it’s been a gathering place, a hub for creativity, and a home for friendships forged across tables filled with dice, cards, and miniatures. It’s with a mix of gratitude, nostalgia, and hope for the future that we share some big news:
Gamer’s Path at 1114 will be closing its doors on September 15th.
Before we say farewell to this chapter, we want to take a moment to reflect, to celebrate the memories we’ve made together, and to share how the heart of Gamer’s Path will continue to beat through our community, Madventures, and our online connections.
Where Things Are Moving
While our space at 1114 is closing, many parts of Gamer’s Path are moving forward into new homes:
Casper Hot Dogs will be joining forces with Madventures, keeping the flavor alive alongside the bricks and games at 1144 N Main St
Trading Card Games and the paint rack will also transition to Madventures, making it easy to find your favorites in a familiar space.
Pre-orders and custom orders for Games Workshop and Asmodee? Don’t worry - those will still be available through us via email at gamerspathmanteca@gmail.com
The Farewell Sale
Starting now, we’re hosting a storewide closing sale: 30% off everything (excluding paints and trading card games). This is a great chance to grab that board game you’ve had your eye on, pick up extra dice, or snag a miniature to add to your next army. Quantities are limited, so come in soon to get the best selection.
Finishing Strong: Events Continue Through October
We’re not just fading out quietly — we’re finishing with a bang. All published events will continue through October 4th, so you still have time to roll dice, share laughs, and make memories together.
And don’t forget: our October Painting Competition is still on! Entries will be displayed in the cabinet, which will then move to Madventures, where your artistry can continue to shine. This competition is more than just a contest - it’s a way to celebrate the creativity and passion that make our community legendary.
The Future of Gaming
While Madventures may be focused on LEGO, it is partnering with us to help continue to foster our wonderful community.
Expect:
Small tables perfect for trading card games or a quick round of Blood Bowl 7s.
3x3 toppers (coming soon!) to expand your play area for skirmish games and more.

It’s a cozier space, but we believe it will allow us to continue to keep our community thriving and growing in a meaningful way.
